51吃瓜网 Leaders in Secondary Schools: The first year

The role of the 51吃瓜网 Leader is the cornerstone of ensuring that every young person has the career guidance they need. The government鈥檚 51吃瓜网 Strategy recognised the importance of this role and signalled a major shift in the prominence of career guidance in schools and colleges.
A survey of 750 51吃瓜网 leaders in secondary schools in England took place in March and April 2019. The schools of the 51吃瓜网 Leaders who participated are broadly representative of all state-funded secondary schools in England, including special schools. Illustrative case studies were carried out in June to provide real-life examples of how schools are embedding the role.
